Education

Within the ballet community, Miss Kati has become an acknowledged authority in Vaganova technique. From her roots in the Hungarian National Ballet and the Theatre of Ulm, she brings a distinctively classical teaching style with Ballanchine’s neoclassical flavour and Bournonville’s approach to elegant footwork.

Experience in professional skating and pas de deux makes Miss Kati a good choice for skaters working on jumps, turns, lifts, strength, flexibility and style. For many years she has been teaching at Edmonton’s Royal Glenora Club.

In addition to this, Miss Kati is the educator of choice for dancers wanting to improve general strength, flexibility and style. Many of her students have successfully auditoned for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and National Ballet of Canada. Dancers from other schools regularly study with Miss Kati in preparation for these and other ballet auditions.

Miss Kati has recently been accredited with PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique).
